Season Tickets are on sale now for the 2008 Furman Paladins Baseball Season! 

Home games against Tennessee and South Carolina at Greenville's Fluor Field at West End and a pair of road contests against Clemson highlight Furman's 2008 baseball schedule.

33 Homes Games, Including Clashes versus South Carolina and Tennessee In Fluor Field at West End, Highlight Slate.

Furman's 54-game slate features 33 home contests, including an Apr. 22 clash against South Carolina and May 13 contest versus Tennessee at Greenville's Fluor Field at West End. The Paladins open the 2008 campaign on Feb. 25 against the Volunteers in Knoxville and kick off the home slate with a doubleheader against New Jersey Tech on Mar. 1. Furman is scheduled to visit Clemson this year, on Mar. 19 and then play the Tigers on May 7 in Fluor Field at West End. Last year the Paladins defeated the Tigers, 6-3, in Clemson.

Furman will open its 27-game Southern Conference slate with a three-game series at The Citadel beginning on Mar. 21 and will entertain Elon in its first home league series starting on Mar. 28. The Paladins wrap up the regular season at home with a three-game set against Georgia Southern on May 15-17 before Southern Conference Tournament play gets underway on May 21 at Charleston's Joseph P. Riley Park.

Furman returns 18 lettermen off last year's squad, including senior's third baseman Bobby Hubbard, center fielder Joey Rodgers and junior left fielder and pitcher Jay Jackson.

The Paladins are coached by Ron Smith, who is entering his 15th year in charge of Furman's baseball program.
