GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Furman women's tennis team has earned a 71st place ranking in the latest ITA poll, released Tuesday.

Junior Laura Gioia and freshman Monica Arguello also earned individual singles rankings in the latest poll. Gioia is ranked 93rd, and Arguello has broken into the rankings after a win over 34th-ranked Anamika Bhargava (Pepperdine) last week.

The Paladins are currently 6-4 on the season, and have played a total of five ranked teams this spring. The team's most recent win was a 5-2 victory over #69 Cal State Northridge.

Furman will begin Southern Conference play this week as they travel to Elon on Saturday, March 8.
