Prep/Personal: Jennifer Betts competed under coach Will Larkey at Newnan High School in Georgia. In 2005, she led her team to a state championship, while also earning the individual 2A state championship. Betts was voted MVP of her high school team as a freshman, sophomore, and junior, and earned the coach's award as a senior. She led her team to a second-place finish in the region in 2006 and 2007 as well as a final four appearance in the state tournament in 2006. Jennifer Marie Betts is the daughter of Philip and Vickie Betts and was born on December 19, 1988 in Boca Raton, Fla. Her father, Philip competed in collegiate swimming at Auburn University. Betts plans to major in Business at Furman.
