Furman: Heads into preseason practice attempting to complete a comeback from a season ending leg injury sustained three games into the 2006 campaign...return to health combined with some of the squad's most impressive speed looms as a potential major plus for Furman's receiving corps and offense. 2006 -- Used an impressive preseason to earn a slot on Furman's travel roster, one of only two true freshmen (Julian Hicks) to do so...saw action in the Paladins' first three games before suffering a broken leg in the first half of the North Carolina contest (45-42 loss)...injury proved to be a season ending setback...applied for and was granted a medical redshirt, thereby retaining four years of eligibility...caught one pass for seven yards and had one rush for 11 yards versus North Carolina on the play that he sustained the season ending injury.
