GENERAL: Exciting, third-year player who will compete for a starting job in the Paladin back court this year following the graduation of veterans Eric Webb and Robby Bostain...though only a sophomore, ranks as the veteran among a very young contingent of Paladin guards...playmaking and shooting ability position allow him to play both point and wing guard...sports outstanding quickness, which makes him a factor on both ends of the court...excellent 3-point and free throw shooter.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2006-07): Earned playing time in all 31 games, almost exclusively as a reserve...averaged 4.5 points and 1.0 rebounds per game while totaling 52 assists...averaged only 1.5 points over the first 18 games before reeling off an 8.6 points clip over his final 13 contests...shot 45.9 percent from the field (34x74) and 47.8 percent from 3-point range (22x46) during that stretch...strong final third of the season began with a season high 20-point performance in a 63-59 win over The Citadel in Greenville...outing against the Bulldogs including 3-for-4 3-point shooting effort and 7-for-9 work at the free throw line...came back the next game to connect on 5-of-8 3-pointers for 15 points against Appalachian State in Boone...a little over a week later scored 13 points in a 76-62 overtime win over the Mountaineers in Greenville...converted 4-of-5 3-pointers as part of a 16-point performance against Wofford in Spartanburg (76-67 loss)...in all shot 50.0 percent from 3-point range (24x48) versus Southern Conference competition.

AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06): Did not see any action...awarded redshirt and extra year of eligibility.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2005 graduate of J.L. Mann (AAA) High School...basketball coach was Jeff Craft...two-time all-state selection and three-time all-region and all-county honoree...scored over 1,600 points in his prep career...finalist for South Carolina Mr. Basketball his senior year after leading J.L. Mann to its third straight Peach Blossom Conference championship and averaging 23.0 points, 5.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game...named region and Greenville County Player-of-the-Year in 2005...rated by Sport Report Magazine among South Carolina's Top Five Players...named to the Beachball Classic All-Tournament Team after setting a tournament record with 15 3-pointers in three games...helped Mann to a 24-5 record and state runner-up finish his junior year...fahioned a 4.2 grade point average as a prep...former high school teammate of Paladin freshman Grayson Glur.
