Forward Brandon Sebirumbi of Keller Central High School in Keller, Texas, has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Furman men's basketball program for the 2008-09 season, it was announced on Wednesday by Paladin head coach Jeff Jackson.
Brett James led Elon with 16 total points as the Phoenix defeated Furman 52-37 in the first round of the Southern Conference men's basketball tournament.
The Furman men's basketball team will open play in its 55th Southern Conference Tournament Friday when the 10th-seeded Paladins face seventh-seed Elon in a 5:15 p.m. game at the North Charleston Coliseum.
