GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman's baseball game at Clemson, scheduled for
Wednesday, March 19, at 7:15 p.m., has been postponed due to the threat of
inclement weather and rescheduled for Thurday, March 20, at 5:00 p.m. at
Doug Kingsmore Stadium, it has been announced.
Furman, 10-5, is expected to start sophomore right-hander Justin Holloway
(1-1, 4.63 ERA) against Clemson. The Paladins have claimed the last two
meetings with the Tigers, including a 6-3 decision last year at Doug
Kingsmore Stadium.
Furman opens Southern Conference play on Friday against arch-rival The
Citadel in Charleston in a 6:00 p.m. game at Joseph P. Riley Park.
