GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Furman track and field program released its 2008 indoor and outdoor schedules today.

The indoor track season will begin on Jan. 12 with a trip to the University of Kentucky, and will feature a total of five meets, including the Southern Conference Championships, held in Clemson, S.C. in early March.

After wrapping up the indoor season, the team will begin outdoor competition on March 8 with a trip to Charleston Southern. Highlights of the outdoor season include a trip to California to compete in the Stanford Invitational, as well as playing host to the annual Furman Invitational and Blue Shoes Fundraiser, featuring speaker Tommie Smith.
