GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Furman track teams turned in solid performances at the Tiger Invitational on the campus of Clemson University this weekend.

The women were led by sophomore Megan Lordi's personal best time of 18:30.04, good for a seventh-place finish in the 5,000m run. Other top ten finishes were Chibuzo Aguocha's ninth-place finish in the long jump (5.39m) and the team of Brittany Johnson, Rebecca Mullen, Jenna Callahan, and Lindsay Barker, who finished ninth in the distance medley event with a time of 12:42.79.

The men were led by top-ten finishes by the team of Alex Plasencia, Terrance Witzke, Jed Wilkerson, and Charles McGoogan in the distance medley with a time of 10:46.96, as well as a third-place finish in the 3,000m run by junior Plasencia with a time of 8:50.51.

The Paladin track teams will return to action March 1 at the Southern Conference championships.
